This is a gorgeous hotel in an excellent location with brilliant staff who went above and beyond. The welcome was warm and immediate, the service very professional and staff seemed to have a real understanding of individual needs. Our room was immaculate, and every single item you might need had been provided with real attention to detail. We slept so well in the comfortable bed, with black-out curtains and silence, despite the front of the hotel being on a very 'happening' street. Most enjoyable too was the excellent drinks and snacks menu in the bar area with its elegant yet comfy seating. Only point-out to incoming visitors, many taxi companies do not have a license to use the pedestrian-only Rua das Flores, so will drop you on the adjacent road. However it is a short walk to the front. I do not often wax lyrical about a hotel, but this one really deserves it. Highly recommended.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was lovely and quiet, the service was excellent - the concierge helped us with restaurant reservations and directions. The hotel was centrally located, within walking distance to major tourist areas. The amenities were good- I used the small gym daily- note there aren’t really weights, mainly cardio machines. The pool/sauna were nice as well, although the pool could have been warmer. We had a lovely welcome drink on arrival and the food from the lounge was good. Definitely worth the price!

Staff were so so helpful. I had a difficult situation and they went above and beyind to help. Possibly nicest hotel staff I have ever had. Hotel itself was great too!

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Fabulous location - walking distance to all tourist areas. Breakfast offered many options. It is a wonderful hotel.
