McIntosh Hall - Campus Accommodation

McIntosh Hall is a dorm facility for the University of St Andrews. We stayed here during their summer holiday. Two twin beds, two desks, a sink, and two armoires. Our room was very large. The beds were fine. We could also use the common room to spread out. You use shared bathrooms but we never found those to be busy. The location is excellent for golf and for getting into the town center. The price is right for a golf holiday in St Andrews! The breakfast was excellent with a fun vibe and a nice expresso machine. We are retired and aren't around many kids. There was a boys' football team staying there for a camp. It was really fun to be around their energy at breakfast. The staff was largely college students which was also fun. We really enjoyed our stay!

Clean and comfortable, the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great and freshly topped up. The catering staff were keeping the dining room clean during a busy period. I will be visiting again as it is perfect for our needs. Thank you

Location is central. Rooms are big and clean. Residence is calm. Nice to feel the university atmosphere.

Too warm, prices have increased considerably over the last couple of years
