Noisy room - paper thin walls and EVERYTHING can be heard from other rooms, especially next door! The shower was freezing cold - no hot water in the morning whatsoever. Room was clean enough but I would not recommend this guest house to anyone

Enjoyed my stay. Room clean and very comfortable. Lovely and warm. Nice clean bedding. Slept well. Bathrooms clean, due to sharing at times bathrooms unavailable at peak times and had to queue.Booked due to location. Would highly recommend staying and will use this accommodation again.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were disgusted as the property entrance was gloomy and uninviting. We are seniors, there was no lift to the second floor and we have to carry our 20 kg each suitcases on a 50 steps of stairs. But on entering the apartment, our room in particular, we were relieved of the anxiety and loved the place after all. The room is very clean, it is warm and most of all, it is very accessible to the city centre. Over all rating us 8/10. I recommend this place to the able-bodied people.❤️

In a lively neighborhood near Univ. of Edinburgh. Centrally located, clean, quiet, no frills. Just what I needed.

Good location. Felt a little stuffy and rather dark due to a lack of any windows.

Innenliegendes Zimmer, überall waren Heizungen hat. Für eine Nacht ok, aber generell sehr, sehr schlechte Luft und sehr heiß. Dafür kann das Hostel nix, aber die zwei Gäste rechts von uns waren extrem laut und haben die komplette Nacht das ganze Hostel belustigt und mit dem Feuerlöscher gespielt. Super nett!

The room itself was fine -- clean and comfortable. The bathtooms were OK, but I hadn't realised they weren't en suite; they were good otherwise. Excellent location for my purposes and a good price. However, the keys I was given did not work on the front door; I had to barge in using my shoulder, and luckily the lock gave way.

Once you get past the tricky Self-Check-In lock box system outside #4 BT, next door to Sainsbury's useful corner shop, don't be put off by the usual drab inner city tenement entrance hall up to this second floor apartment #7, which you will find to be in fact very clean and well fitted out budget accommodation in a good location.. The seven bedrooms off the very social inner hall give communal access to two shower rooms, plus a useful central table with chairs and a guest micro wave + fridge freezer, which reminded us of our student days. The only down side was that any 'Free Parking' is on street and just limited to over night if you're lucky? Mr and Mrs Booth

Great old Edinburgh tenement building! Classic old entrance and stair took me back to my childhood!
