Mai Chau Mountain View Resort

Enjoyed the large family villa.

Location is quite far from everything and there are no tour options available. Your only dining option is the hotel restaurant which isn’t very good. Pool area only had a very limited number of sun beds.

Perfect resort to stay in Mai Chau. Our room has balcony that faced the breathtaking view. Professional and kind staff who simply responded with a smile to our every request. Highly recommend!!!

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! We stayed here for a week and it was absolute bliss, total relaxation. Our room was lovely and the pool/view are out of this world. The staff were all lovely, they were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We can’t wait to go back!

Great hotel out in the peaceful, calm countryside of Mai Chau. We arrived by shuttle bus from Hanoi ($50 round trip for 2). It is a lovely hotel with a great pool overlooking the mountains of Mai Chau. There is a wonderful little restaurant in the hotel, open for lunch and dinner. It's a great place to relax. Being in the countryside you can rent bikes and cycle or walk through the local villages and buy some of the local scarves, table runners, tablecloths woven by the locals - wonderful experience. The staff were very helpful and even performed local dances in front of the hotel on the Saturday evening. We ate lunch at the 3 sisters restaurant in Mai Chau - real Vietnamese cuisine in an authentic setting.

I'm not sure what you would do if it rained a lot during your stay as it is really rural but I suppose, like in most parts of Vietnam you could probably rent a driver for the day to take you to visit surrounding areas. We didn't get the chance to go to Pu Long but I believe it's just over an hour away from Mai Chau.

big room deals like a western place inside the jungle. the pool has nice mountains view. stuff is very helpful and nice.

the pool is not clean, contains insects and eggs of insects inside. the towels and sheets are not very clean. the restaurant is very expensive and not very tasty. the location is far from the center and the way is dark. over all doesn’t feels like good value for the money.
