Excellent business hotel - have visited twice. The room are up to the usual Mariott's standards - no surprises. The breakfast buffet is truly excellent with a really wise range of offerings.

We had an incredible stay at the Marriott Kathmandu, made truly unforgettable by the exceptional team - Sarita, Suraj, Manish, and Ajaya. From the moment we arrived, their warmth, professionalism and genuine care stood out. They were always so attentive and welcoming, making us feel instantly at home and going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, always with a smile. Their hospitality truly elevated our entire experience and we will miss them! The rooms were clean and so comfortable, we didn’t leave for a couple of days. We enjoyed every amenity! Thank you all for making our stay so memorable. We’ll absolutely be back!

I had such a wonderful stay at Kathmandu Hotel. It truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring. What really made the experience special, though, was the amazing staff. A huge thank you to Sarita, Suraj, Manesh, and Ajaya. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests did not go unnoticed. They were always ready to help with a smile, and it made such a difference. I would absolutely recommend Kathmandu Hotel to anyone visiting. It feels like a home away from home. Can’t wait to come back!

I highly recommend reserving the Marriott Club level (with access to the club lounge) - it's the absolute best one I've ever stayed at. Not only is the view majestic (it's on the 10th/highest floor) and the food impeccable, the staff are extraordinary. I've never seen more attentive staff: this incudes Manish, Dipesh, Suraj, Arbin and Ajay; they are marvelous and each deliver a superb guest experience with extremely intricate attention to detail. When you arrive in the lounge they will stand up right away and welcome you and ask if you need anything and how they can facilitate/elevate your experience. Then there is the IT professional, Aditya; after Manish called him, he appeared in the lounge within 1 minute and tremendously helped me when my laptop and internet situation was beyond repair. He fixed everything technologically on my laptop which had complex encryption issues. I'm so grateful. The club itself had so many items for breakfast: fresh dosa, pancakes, muffins, bread, traditional Nepali breakfast items Aloo, cereal, meat options, pineapple mousse-like lassi, coffees, and many more. There is also "happy hour" which is a proper dinner in my humble opinion. The lounge is quiet and you can work on your laptop/business related projects etc... at any of the numerous seats and tables (they all have the capability of multiple plugs including American plugs). This hotel is extremely safe and there are several security guards at the entrance who are warm and welcoming The value is second to none. It is also spotless and extremely clean. The other Marriott hotels in the world should learn from this one. It is a novel, unprecedented level of service, competence, professionalism, and perfection.

Clean, spacious, comfortable good service, good value

The only complaint I have is that when I wanted to use the business lounge to have a meeting with my local manufacturer the person in charge of the M lounge was making it difficult, making me and my business associates feel uncomfortable. But this was an exception only on this occasion - all other staff were friendly, lovely, helpful and polite
