Cumbrian Inn

Rode by and too afraid to go in…told by locals NOT to stay there….went and found alternate.

Ok place to stay. They were just getting started after the COVID travel restrictions were lifted so we’re a little unorganized. Staff were great and tried their best.

Didn’t end up staying the room smelled really bad.

The inn is conveniently located. It is very close to the BC Ferry Terminal and town centre. It is tidy and clean.

Thank you for your hospitality. My soace was amazing and the view stunning. The art gallery was a perfect touch

Super friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms in an older hotel, located right in Bella Coola

We stayed in the property across the street from the main building. Although the property was clean, it was very basic. No phone and alarm clock didn't work - so no wake up call for very early ferry. Not much noise separation between units. Misplaced a piece of clothing and called to ask if it had been found - was promised a call within the hour to let us know if it had been found - no call received. Very pricey for no value added.

This place is attractive and very comfortable with staff that put you first above all else. They are proud of Bella Coola and their community. They are knowledgeable and helpful beyond just their premises.

Helpful evening staff at check in, even showed us the gallery that was closed. Unfortunately the woman that was there in the morning was brisk mannered and unpleasant and could not keep track what room we were in. Although she asked and knew we were coming back to the room after a morning town visit, when we returned at 10:20am, the door was standing wide opened to the corridor and to adjoining bedroom and the room had been already cleaned for next guests, while checkout is not till 11am. Our bags were moved. She tried to blame someone else for the mixup rather than apologizing.This is not acceptable and made us completely unwelcome. Room itself is spacious and clean although could have 2 chairs instead of 1 to sit at a table. Thin walls as heard loud water running from another room at 5 am which woke me up much too early. Messy communal room.
