"It is a nice cosy accomadation inside the Galle Fort."

10.0

Located inside the fort city of Galle, this antique Dutch-style villa is owned by a family—with warm hospitality from reception till see-off. Hot water, Wi-Fi, and free breakfast were added advantages. It is easy to access from Church Street. It is closest to the Lighthouse, and all the other attractions are within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful time talking with the family. I will recommend this accommodation.

"Retro Vibe"

9.0

Located in the heart of the old city, it is near to everything. You can enjoy tranquil nights. The antique decor gave us a retro vibe. Fazal and Hussein were the most gracious of hosts.

The room was dark with 3 bulb lights.

"Very good for the price."

9.0

It was an old property by looks but inside it was well furnished and clean . Bathroom rooms were clean . The AC was not sufficient for the room we stayed , but there were 2 fans to compensate.

No lift. There was help from the property side to carry baggages. So not a big problem. No windows.

"Amazing!!!"

10.0

My stay here was amazing! The hosts were so lovely and they catered to me so well. They served me true authentic Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning which was delicious! The location was fantastic, we was surrounded by local shops and restaurants all around us. The hosts made us feel really comfortable and went over and beyond for us. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in the centre of Galle. Truly amazing and will definitely be coming back soon!!

"It was great!"

10.0

The room was clean, had ac, it was near all the activities in Galle. The owner is super nice. Breakfast was amazing!

Our room was on the top floor, the steps were steep. It was a bit scary. So be a bit careful.

Location is great, right near the Galle Fort southern wall which has Flag rock, mosque and the lighthouse. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They served a delicious breakfast for our final day in Sri Lanka - egg hoppers with dhal. A/c worked well, especially with the ceiling fan. Double bed was large and comfy, room was spacious too. Hot water in the shower and lovely pressure. The room had a nice private balcony which was a bonus. Steps away opposite the road is Cafe 82 for a necessary homemade ice cream on a hot day!

"Beyond the linens of luxury: A hidden haven in Galle"

10.0

Beyond the linens of luxury: A hidden haven in Galle Our stay at the 300-year-old Dutch Wall Luxury Boutique in Galle was a reminder that luxury doesn’t always come wrapped in satin sheets or marble floors. Sometimes, it’s found in the quiet gestures, the unspoken warmth of a family that makes you feel like you belong. And that’s what we found here—more than just a place to rest, we found a place, to feel seen, and to be nurtured. Full of life and warmth, Faizal took charge of our needs with a quiet, focused energy. His attention to detail—arranging transport, sharing local stories, offering insider tips—was flawless. Yet, it was his uncle, Fazal, and aunt, Fathima—the quiet architects of the experience—who truly left an indelible mark. Their calm and unspoken presence was felt throughout our time at the boutique. They were not as visible, but their touch was everywhere. Every morning, we were greeted with a breakfast that spoke volumes—delicious Sri Lankan fare, expertly prepared, served with a grace that suggested years of tradition and care. They didn’t just cook; they nurtured, feeding not only our tummies but also our spirits. Each bite was a gift, thoughtfully prepared even during the challenging days of Ramadan. Despite their own fasts and the demands of the season, Faizal’s family always ensured we felt cared for, never making us feel like anything was out of reach or too much to ask. Their hospitality wasn’t loud or ostentatious; it was a quiet, constant presence that wrapped around us, offering comfort and care without expectation. As we left Galle and continued our journey to Colombo, we carried with us the warmth of a family who had shown us that hospitality, in its purest form, isn’t defined by what’s on the menu or how plush the bed is. In a world where so much can feel transactional, the Dutch Wall Luxury Boutique stood as a testament to what truly matters: human connection. Through their quiet gestures and deep-rooted care, Faizal, his uncle, a
