Ocean View Hotel

Good location, helpful staff, delicious breakfast I read some negative reviews before traveling, however, room was very clean and comfortable. Good value

Furnitures are a bit old fashioned, but no problems at all for me.

Main plus was the very helpful and friendly staff. It was also a good breakfast - an added bonus was the happy hour in the bar 😀

Although the property was very clean it just seemed a little ”tired”.

The location was spot on perfect the fact you can hear the sea makes it even more special. The staff hands down are amazing and really do care about how you feel at the hotel let alone extremely helpful! We would love to come back at a much later date when work has been done and to be able to use the pool!

Rooms definitely need a revamp and I personally would say new mattress but let’s be honest here we are all fussy when it comes to things like that. Also I can’t believe I’m saying this but if there is a way the hotel could turn down the heating that would be amazing as it was far too hot for us which gave a-bit of a smell in the room😂. We was definitely gutted that the pool was out of use (fully understand why) however, explaining to my 3 year old that the pool was closed and seeing her upset was deflating, we was not made aware previously that the pool is closed if we was I personally think we would of looked for a cheaper place to stay. We did have to request to move to another room due to other guest being rude and extremely loud till silly time at night! With zero respect to others or staff for that matter, due to this we didn’t have a pleasant experience and barely got any sleep. But this is not the hotel or staff fault this is purely from rude and bad behaviour guest!

Hotel was advertised as having a swimming pool this was the main reason we booked the hotel. When I asked about the pool the lady was extremely rude! She explained the pool was closed and that was clearly stated on the website which was not the case at all I have screen shots to prove this. The room was basic no chairs on the balcony, shower plug and tiles were filthy. The breakfast was awful! Cutlery and glasses filthy! I was given a refund of £30 and that is unacceptable! It took till the next morning for us to be offered a partial refund if that was the case the day we arrived we would of booked elsewhere for a full refund as the hotel, lack of facilities, breakfast, cleanliness and attitude of the staff was diabolical! Staff rude and argued that the pool closure was stated it was not other guests were also complaining.
