Guest Inn Alfama Apartments

The property provided everything needed for a couple or single person. The location was perfect.

Location in the oldest part of Lisboa

Almost no amenities; had to buy toilet paper.

Great location, very close to restaurants and bars. Cozy place for our girls trip.

The apartment is a bit small. Outside stairs are quite narrow as well. Inside alfama so need to walk out to take cat.

Great location, loved Alfama. The apartment is well equipped with facilities and though a small space, well laid out and feels spacious! The apartment is located on a tiny road, but you feel completely safe and there are plenty of amenities nearby.

Whether or not you sleep is a total gamble based on who your neighbours are. You can hear everything from the other BnB guests, and if they are loud - as ours were - from 6:30am, you will be woken by them. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, and rattle with movements from upstairs. This is the main reason we couldn't neccessarily recommend this location, despite enjoying many of its benefits. A few other issues include: Communication with the hosts is also very slow, the fridge is in the same room as the bed and hums quite loudly, there is no storage space to unpack, and we found the beds personally very uncomfortable.

Good location. Kind of near the main train station. Easy to get to transit. 20 min walk to main areas.

Narrow set of stairs might be an issue for some. Could hear people walking/talking above us. Bit of an odor in the bathroom. Smaller than it looks in photos.
