Chiado Balcony Apartment

The location was good, near everything one wants to visit.

The street noise was too much on weekend. The toilet was very small, though comfortable.

Nos encantó la ubicacion, está súper centrico. Tb el trato personal, Ana la dueña vino personalmente a ubicarnos y explicarnos todo. Se agradece este trato

En general todo fenomenal, tal vez que el baño era extremadamente pequeño, su mampara rota aunque funcional y que había olores de tuberías (siempre puerta cerrada).

Super zentrale lage, grundsätzlich sauber und für 3 nächte wunderbar. Leider sehr kleines badezimmer, keine möglichkeit das nasse duschtuch aufzuhängen. João hat mit uns das check-in gemacht und wir konnten sogar bereits um 10.15 uhr das apartment beziehen. Vielen dank!

Location was perfect place to stay , Raquel was best host

We had booked the apartment for 4 people but We were not provided with the bedding for two for one night, I had to chase many times to provide bedding to sleep.

Excellent location - its okay clean - very good for the price and responsive on whats app if you have any questions

The location

The sewer smell was very bad and strong entering the apartment from the toilet, shower and kitchen sink. I have been traveling with my family and prior to our arrival I asked the property management to provide us with a baby cot but this was not there. During the checkin the person that was waiting for me handed me some sheets and towels and asked me to make the sofa bed. A pillow and a duvet for my child was missing and even if I called to ask for them they never arrived.

The apartment is in an excellent location. We took the metro from the train station and stopped at Baixa Chiado. It was only a 5 minute walk. Our host, João was kind enough to meet us a bit early to let us in. He provided recommendations and dealt with a minor issue immediately. There are multiple restaurants nearby and Tram 28 is a few metres from the apartment entrance. The apartment is spacious and has a kitchenette equipped with all the basics. We liked the separate bedroom and with the doors closed, it was very quiet. The bed were comfortable. A couple of things we didn't like are the smokers who sit on the stoop just below, the toilet with the wrong seat and the slight sewer smell coming from the washroom. The washroom is very small, but we managed fine. We found the location very safe and very convenient. We also took the metro to the airport from there.
