Cactus Inn and Suites

The building is super old and had a mold smell. The staff was super nice, they offered another room but we declined.

I booked the two bedroom suite. I was traveling with my elderly parents. They probably should tell you somewhere when booking that this facility doesn’t even come close to meeting ADA requirements. The two bedroom suite is on the second floor and there’s no elevator. This is probably a 1960s old style motel with the metal grate staircase going up to the second floor. My 90-year-old dad struggled and fell once. Jessica at the front desk was amazing to let us use the stairs within the hotel but it still was a struggle. The two bedroom suite is a regular motel room with 2 queen beds and a bed in a small separate room with a metal folding chair and a small side table. One of the queen size beds had the sheets sort of messed up and definitely not pulled tight. We debated if they forgot to change the sheets. I offered to go get another set of sheets at the front desk, but my parents were too tired. We just dealt with it. The room is definitely no frills. The floor is laminate and I could see some bare footprints pretty well defined on the floor which grossed me out a bit, but we just kept our shoes on. It’s just an old motel definitely lacking frills. I paid $100 at night for the suite and it probably should’ve been about half that. It appears to be a motel for workers who are in the area who need a cheap place to stay. In the evening, there were a couple of men hanging outside smoking weed and smoking cigarettes. They were gone early the next morning. Friendly, but I won’t be back

Kind of old and in need of a renovation. Had someone try and open out door so that was a little concerning. Staff was excellent

I had to remind myself this was only a place to sleep. The shower had hair in it so I scrubbed it down before using it. A few flies in the room, not the worst thing, but annoying. It was definitely better on the inside than the outside. Bed was fine, fridge/AC worked. Other than that, it was a place to sleep.

Quick, easy checkin, friendly staff. Only real issue was tight parking and the floor was not cleaned good. Several people luve there but I felt safe. Easy access to highway

Small and old but is clean and has pretty much all necessary amenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, continental breakfast, wifi, iron, hairdryer. Beds are too old and make tons of noise. Mattresses are too soft. But overall we were happy with our stay here.

Could not find an actual number to contact the hotel for a late check in. The AC in the room did not work. It was July and hot. Beds were horrible.
