Jonathan City Apartments

This place ticked all the boxes for a short stay. I liked the quiet residential feel of the location. It is 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and the water and no more than 15 minutes from the bus and the port. The balcony is great as is the AC and bathroom and towels and bed. It is a spacious apartment for one or two and relaxing during the day with sea glimpses from the balcony.

Like others, I’m not a massive fan of the app for the door key especially as the app tracks your location which Apple alerted me to (!) and the kitchen is very basic - enough for one pan cooking only. Also the neighbours upstairs were noisy on my first night and it comes through the ceiling.

Τα λευκά είδη είχαν μια περίεργη μυρωδιά μάλλον από τον χώρο που αποθηκεύονται, το ίδιο κ η είσοδος , παρόλα αυτά υπάρχει πλυντήριο στο διαμέρισμα και ο ιδιοκτήτης έχει όλη την καλή διάθεση να βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε .

We had some issues with the automatic door opening, but no one was answering our messages or calls. It eventually worked, but the lack of assistance kept us from going out in the evening — we were worried we might get locked out. We also found a huge cockroach in the room; maybe we were just unlucky, but I wouldn’t recommend the place.

Geen sleutel, maar een app om de deur te openen. De airco maakt redelijk wat geluid.

The overall design of the apartment is very nice and the location is perfect. You can stay close to Kos town but can be far from the crowd and noise. The attention of the staff is really good. They helped us a lot with the cleanliness issue.

When we first arrived the apartment was not really clean and there was a bad smell. Luckily they were able to solve it quite quickly. The apartment also was lacking mosquito screens. We couldn’t keep them out during the hot weather.
