Isla Tijereto

Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement isolé sur cette petite ile. Nous avons un accès au deux cotés de l'ile avec une plage pratiquement privé. Le voisinage est sympatique, tranquille à part les coqs qui nous réveille le matin. L'eau est limpide et chaude. Nous avons accès à deux Kayac et des équipements de plongé en apnée. La nourriture est fait sur place. Il n'y a pas un très grand choix mais c'est délicieux.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tijereto during my vacation in Colombia, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Let's start with the comfort—the hotel exceeded all expectations! The furnishings were tastefully chosen, but simple, creating a soothing ambiance that instantly relaxed me. The bed was a great. Now, let's talk about the beach. The hotel's location offered breathtaking views of pristine, powdery white sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters that stretched as far as the eye could see. It was like stepping into a postcard! . The beach loungers and umbrellas provided by the hotel ensured I could relax in style while savoring the gentle sea breeze.

Excelente experiencia. Desde la coordinacion para llegar al muelle, el transporte, la llegada a la isla fu espectacular. Joaquin y todos super pendientes para que la estadia sea perfecta. La comida deliciosa y la atencion hasta a borde del mar.

The staff at Isla Tijereto were absolutely wonderful. They were kind and personable in a way that you often don't get at larger resorts. Just good people working hard to provide a perfect experience for their guests. Would 100% stay here again!

Bugs and poor internet connection were the only drawbacks.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The location was sounded by nice beaches and other restaurants and spots to visit. Yalila was one of the staff who went above and beyond with serving us.

The place was very rustic and did not represent the pictures online. The check in was very choppy. The food was not very good, and they were not very good at making cocktails so we drank beer mostly. The room was poorly decorated and over crowded with mattresses.

Nothing to like about it.

As a Colombian I am ashamed. This place, with that rating is a BIG mistake on Booking.com It is simple unacceptable to pay ~100 Euros (regardless of the season) for those services and facilities. "Private bathroom", was not even in the room, it was next to the reception with no certainty that it was not used by the staff themselves (no key was given). All the rooms are within an area that has barely any privacy. As the rooms and all "social" area was within the same range, you could here everything, as of course there were no window glass. There is no chance for peace as in the private property of the neighbors (within 3 meters distance) were playing loud music all day long. The cleanliness left much to desire, as the towels although washed were all full of stains, whereas toiletries were as basic as it can possibly be. The bathroom had a net that barely cover half of the window, for a meager privacy and tranquility. The meals may have been decent in taste, but overpriced and being the only place to go there was no other option. The staff pictures and comments do not coincide at all with the reality. The picture of the three service staff on booking do not show any of the current persons working there. The names on the reviews do not correspond either. The manager Raul, had a terrible attitude, and to make matters worse, they had problems with the credit card payment system. We barely manage to stay the night to arrange our way out to Big Island early next morning.

La estadía estuvo muy bien, estuvimos alojados 2 noches, la comida muy bien promedio 35 mil COP por plato. Lo mejor es la ubicación, está a 20 metros del arrecife de coral, es bellísimo vimos peses de todo tipo, rayas, anguilas. Nosotros llevamos nuestro equipo y pudimos disfrutar del coral cuánto quisimos. Lo único es que en temporada alta como cuando fuimos, la cantidad de lanchas que visita el lugar es alta entonces se requiere que los que hacen snorkel tengan algo de señalización para indicarle a las lanchas que se alejen. Como experiencia para desconectar y recargarse es genial

Our stay at Isla Tijereto was perfect! The location was so beautiful. The staff were so friendly and very attentive, the food was so tasty. We hired the kayak they had and kayaked around the island which was so nice with the waters being so clear. It rained one day we were there but this did not effect our experience. They have pet cats there and a pet dog and they were all so cute!!
