Hôtel Campanile Montpellier Centre St Roch

Lack of good quality pillows and only 1 per person in the room and very flat so not a good nights sleep.

Attention , contrairement a ce qui est mis en avant par Expedia : pas de parking à l hôtel, il faut payer au moins 17€ de plus. Le SPA n est pas en libre accès, payant également. Literie de notre chambre inconfortable et rideau non occultant. Les bon points : propreté et proximité gare et centre historique

Personnel très agréable. Chambre très propre et très fonctionnelle. tout petit bémol sur du matériel cassé dans la chambre (tablette bureau) et aussi le petit déjeuner un peu décevant, trop petit espace et choix un peu léger.

Séjour agréable et chambre conforme à la description. L’accueil manque vraiment de sourire.

Contemporary, modern hotel, walking distance from the city center and the Montpellier Saint-Roch central train station. The hotel is very clean, the staff very nice and helpful, has elevators, and the price is quite reasonable. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the shower (not all hotels have nice, clean and well-lit showers). Walking minutes from the Place de la Comédie with its cafés and from the old city streets. There are always taxis in front of the hotel and if you prefer public transportation, there is a nearby tramway station. The hotel is across from the Saint-Roch train station, allowing you to plan little day trips with local trains to visit more places around Montpellier, then walk back to the hotel to rest. Very easy and safe access to the hotel day and night. On the downside, if you are arriving late at night, there is nothing open around the hotel except a McDonald's small location where you must order at a window and wait outside, or a bar. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant (you can go to the restaurant of the Belaroia Hotel (same building, different hotel) but it can be a bit pricey for some guests. However, this restaurant is not open late and the Campanile hotel itself doesn't have food options available for guests arriving late. So if you are arriving at night, bring some snacks with you. The electric kettle in the room was broken and the mattress was a bit firm for me (but you may like it), but we otherwise had a good stay.

Overall, I think this hotel could do with an all round update. It’s lacking some of the basics I’ve come to expect of budget/tourist hotels (e.g. there’s not a safe nor a fridge in the room). However, the staff were friendly and happy to supply a few bits we’d forgotten to pack. I wouldn’t stay for longer than a night or two.

The Hotel was nice and staff were lovely, and the location is fantastic, it's next to the train station and the restaurants and shops too.

Très bon qualité prix. Très propre, chambre avec salle de bain bien agencées. Très bien situé puisque très proche de ka gare SNCF et par conséquent à 5min de la place de la comédie. Seul bémol : le petit-déjeuner où on y trouve certes tout ce qu'il faut mais il reste très limité en fruits (fruits frais inexistants). D'autres pains, autres que du pain blanc, seraient un plus (pain complet, pain au mais, ...). Et puis, s'il vous plaît... pour un 3 etoiles, le couteau à pain n'est pas au rendez-vous.

Très bonne situation . Hôtel très agréable . Petit bémol le petit déjeuner si on arrive au delà de 9 heures. Il n’y avait plus de pain et il y avait peu de choix .

Very conveniently located, just across the road from the train station. Tram stops are just outside too. Easily walkable to the sights and attractions, so many eateries around the area. It’s quiet and safe at the hotel
