Chitra villa

It was in a quiet area which was nice although central and not far from things at the same time. As a couple it was nice to have an additional bedroom and bathroom, pool was great and clean and most things you needed were present at the accommodation.

We stayed 6 days and 5 nights- our villa was only cleaned once and during the 1 time it was done quite early morning and we were still asleep, therefore our bedroom and bathroom missed being cleaned and didn’t get done the whole time we were there, our sheets not changed, no new towels left etc. The bathrooms had a bit of an odour I think potentially because they were rather small. The kitchen tap was nearly fully broken and there was liquid for dishes but no plug for the sink ?? I know Bali prices have risen, although for what we paid (about $800 AUD) for 5 nights I feel like we could’ve found something better. If you have a jam packed holiday with no plans to spend time at your villa I can recommend staying here, it wasn’t spacious or ideal for us to want to spend our down time. The pool also doesn’t receive any direct sun, if that’s what you’re after.

During our 12 day stay on Bali, we enjoyed being hosted at Chitra Villa, which is located in the central part of Seminyak allowing easy access to a range of good dining, various spas and other culturally interesting sites in the urban areas of Bali as well as good access to transport options. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and especially the swimming pool that were kept clean by the staff throughout the week. When requests from our side arose, they were taken care of immediately by the staff to our fullest satisfaction. We can very much recommend staying at Chitra Villa for some nice, relaxing days on Bali.

The cleanliness of the bathroom

The 2 bedroom villa was clean with only the usual Bali wear and tear. Bedrooms were a good size and it was nice having a bathroom each.

There were no soap, shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms - the empty Citra Villa containers were on display but we had to go out the next day to buy soap to wash our hands and shower with. There was an ironing board but no iron. I selected this villa because the Reviews state that it was in a great location close to shops. We tried walking to the main street in Seminyak but it was too far away and too dangerous to do so. We ended up having to call a taxi everyday to drop us off at the Junction spend the day in that area then catch another to get back to the Villa, therefore spending too much just getting to where we wanted to go. Because we were too far from Restaurants we paid for GoJek to deliver food to us or catch a Taxi to and from the villa again.

Quiet Area

Chitra Villa is an amazing place. I’m glad that I was not embarrassed by my friends by having this place for us. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the Host and their staff were amazing. They were also extremely accommodating to our request. Overall experience was really great. Thank you so much!

It didn't really bother me and other friends much but there’s a friend with an OCD there. She was looking for an iron or steamer 😅
