Good evening dear. Before going to sleep to get ready for an early check out tomorrow, I thought of writing to you to thank you for every moment we spent at your lovely place. Let alone the location which is breath-taking, the warmth and positive energy that surrounds every inch is one of a kind. You must be the source of this energy, i have seen it and felt it every time we spoke. I am grateful to you because you sympathized with my wife heights panic and your kind advices. A big thanks dear brother and looking forward to seeing you again

We spent a lovely couple of nights at Melford. The room was spacious and clean with a view out over a beautifully maintained garden towards Gregory Lake. The breakfasts were outstanding and delicious though way more food than we could eat! The location is a little out of town, on a quiet street but easy to get a tuk-tuk into the centre or a longer walk around the lake. The owner and staff we met were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. If you like to stay in smaller privately run guesthouses then I'd have no hesitation recommending Melford Nuwaraeliya.

Очень хороший гостеприимный владелец и персонал, и просто шикарные завтраки! Историческое здание, которому больше 50 лет, но выглядит оно до сих пор в хорошем состоянии!. Горячий душ, отличный напор! Хорошие матрасы, спать было очень сладко, просыпалась отдохнувшей. Теплые одеяла и есть пледы, так что тут точно не замерзнете. И деревянные полы. Рассветы, закаты из окон! Я бы с удовольствием вернулась. Хозяин сделал апгрейд номера и это был лучший подарок на мой день рождения. Нам так понравилось, что мы продлили еще на два дня.

Немного на отшибе, от основной части города. И то что соседнее строящееся здание закрыло обзор, который раньше был у этого места.

Location and super host.

We had a really nice stay here. The room was cozy and comfortable, everything was in good condition and worked perfectly. The owners were very kind and welcoming, they even brought us tea with cookies, which was such a lovely touch after a long journey. One of the best things was the hot water and strong water pressure — everything in the bathroom worked great, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is also very good. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!
