Extremely helpful host and super tastly break fast.

Chambre très spacieuse et très propre. La literie est très bonne, l’eau chaude dans la salle de bain est impeccable et nécessaire car les températures peuvent être basses la nuit. L’emplacement du logement est calme et très bien placé pour le rejoindre le centre ville. Nous avons très bien été accueilli par le propriétaire !! Il est très amicale et sociable. Il nous arrangé pour nos activités. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et très copieux !!!

Really nice experience for the price. Host was kind and very helpful but also not overbearing and left us to enjoy our stay unless we needed him. The garden is beautiful and my 3 year old enjoyed running around it whilst I enjoyed the wonderful view of the lake. Front communal reception room is very nice and modern with sofas and big tv. It’s at the quiet end of the lake but an enjoyable walk to the town centre. Good local breakfast was served.

Not lots of restaurants or shops super close by, but just get a quick tuk tuk and enjoy the beautiful view on the way!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, etwas ausserhalb des geschäftigen Zentrums, jedoch alles Wichtige in Fussdistanz zu erreichen. Der Inhaber ist ausserordentlich liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit, hat uns super Tipps gegeben und Tuktuks zu unschlagbarem Preis organisiert. Ebenfalls sehr reichhaltiges und leckeres Sri-lankanisches Frühstück. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war topp. In allerlei Hinsicht absolut zu empfehlen!

Hele aardige eigenaar, wil je graag helpen bij alle vragen. Heerlijk ontbeten. De kamers zijn ruim en comfortabel!

The host is the most attentive person. He helped us in all the ways possible: arranged a car for us, lent us a heater as it was cold and rainy… The room and bathroom were very big and spacious: the shower had great hot water. Breakfast is also really nice. Overall a great experience.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Betten bequem und mit dicken Decken ausgestattet, sodass es nachts nicht zu kalt wurde. Das absolute Highlight der Unterkunft ist jedoch Gastgeber Bandara: unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und einer der nettesten Menschen, die wir auf Sri Lanka getroffen haben. Er hilft bei Transfers, gibt tolle Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants und erzählt viel Spannendes über Land und Leute. Auch das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut – nicht nur geschmacklich, sondern auch durch die liebevolle Erklärung zu jedem einzelnen Gericht. Viele Zutaten stammen sogar direkt aus Bandaras eigenem Garten.

das Klima etwas feucht und kühl – nichts Besonderes, aber funktional. Außerdem liegt die Unterkunft nicht direkt im Zentrum, wobei man mit dem Tuk-Tuk schnell überall hinkommt.

Hospitality was exceptional, Bandara is kind and generous host. Breakfast spread is huge with authentic Sri Lankan dishes.

המקום מעוצב יפה ונותן אווירה טובה מאוד למנוחה. הדבר הכי טוב פה זה הצוות- האירוח שלהם מושלם. עוזרים בכל מה שצריך! נוף יפה לאגם. יש מים רותחים במקלחת ובכיור! המארח המקסים הכין לנו תה והיה מאוד אדיב.

למקום כזה קר היה עוזר להוסיף מערכת חימום. היה לנו קר מחוץ לשמיכות. הרבה זבובים בחדר.
