Sete Cidades Lake Lodge

Felt directly at home when we entered, really cosy place!

Todo! El alojamiento esta en un sitio idilico, rodeado de vegetación super salvaje, parece que estas en la jungla! El lodge es precioso tanto por fuera como por dentro. Nos recibieron con una cesta de fruta, mantequilla y pan local increible que fue nuestro desayuno todos los dias! Esta super limpio y tiene todas las comodidades. Ademas te dejan kayak para montar en el lago, que usamos tomando un vino y viendo el atardecer y bicis que usamos para conocer mas los alrededores de sete cidades. Si tuviese que recomendar a alguien, sin duda creo que es el mejor sitio de Sete Cidades

The lodge is in urgent need of renovation and new furniture. Unfortunately, everything smells strongly of damp and mould. After just one night, even our clothes and hair absorbed the smell, and we had to wash everything twice at a laundry on the Azores. We asked for a change of pillows and sheets, but it made no difference. On the second night, we ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room, which also smelled, though slightly less. This was especially disappointing as I was celebrating my 40th birthday and had hoped to enjoy the stay. Instead, it left us with a very negative impression of Sete Cidades. Considering the high price, the quality is far below expectations. After two out of four nights, we decided to leave the property and book a new one, which turned out to be excellent and offered great service. I had hoped the owner might make some effort to improve the situation and not leave such a bitter memory of Sete Cidades, but unfortunately, he chose to ignore us. Given the circumstances, I believe at least a partial refund would have been fair. Without it, the experience feels even more disappointing. With this approach, I’m convinced this property will not last long in the Azores accommodation market.

Great and quite place, friendly staff

Einmalige Lage am See - freistehendes, grosses Bungalow umgeben von Pflanzen. Ein reich gefüllter Picknick- und Frühstückskorb stand zu unserer Freude bereit :-)

Wegweisung vor Ort und Gartenpflege könnte optimiert werden.

Un peu trop sombre dans l appartement

Très beau logement, cocooning ce qui fut très agréable avec la météo capricieuse.

Pas de rapport avec le logement qui était exceptionnel, la météo a fait défaut.

Very quiet, great welcome basket with breakfast items, fruits and wine. Bikes and a kayak to use for free. Beautiful gardens.

The houses are really cute, but the downside of the location is that they get quite damp. Even at the height of summer, it's hard to dry clothing indoors. When you open the windows, flies and mosquitos get in.

Location right at the lake, tropical garden around, a basket of local goodies on arrival.

Beautiful and serene location, steps from the lake. The bungalow is surrounded by plants and a perfect place to getaway. The kitchen has all the staples from cookware to seasonings to make a meal. The property manager was very responsive and there was someone to greet us when we arrived and tell us about the area. They also provided a welcome basket of fruits and local goodies. We traveled with a toddler, and it was a friendly space. They provided a pack& play, high chair and eating set. Waking up to the views was spectacular!

I don’t have any complaints. I would definitely return.
