Bongaree Ocean Villa

The location, the hosts and their hospitality we had a warm greeting on our arrival. Plenty of extra towels and linen. There was lovely greenery outside and the room had a cooler and fan with sliding doors to open up to get fresh air

The villa is in the backyard of the host's home and the shower and toilet are outside of the villa making privacy uncertain. The shower is in a small room with the toilet and the whole room gets wet after a shower.

Location. All information are decieving. It says villa but not villa at all. Its a back shed converted to a small room. View are all shed stuff and very tiny inclosured garden about 1 m from the wall to the fence. Toilet is located outside the room. Double bed, yes but its uncomfortable. Tv is located inside the bedrom to the right side of the bed. A/C is located inside the closet. Closet are full of junk, no space to hang outfit. Tried to pull blinds down for more privacy from next door backyad but unable to due to the blinds cord is disconnected. Dog in the property. Park your car on the street at your own risk. They should put all the information about the location, dog and parking so that people are become aware of the situation before confirming their stay. Removed the villa bit as it is not villa at all! I only became aware about the dog and parking space after i made my booking. And worst of all a big shocked when we arrived and led to the back shed. I booked for two nights but stayed only for one night.

The accommodation was in a fantastic location across the road from Bongaree waterfront. Two minutes walk from a small shopping centre including Liquorland, IGA and a nice coffee shop. The accommodation had a tropical feel in a setting of lovely gardens and ferns. The owner had considered all details and included nice touches. The kitchenette was well stocked with eating and cooking items. Full sized fridge with a bottle of bubbles left- a nice touch, thank you. Nice towels and bathroom items left. Air conditioner and fans to keep cool. Recently updated- new bathroom and kitchen cupboards/ inclusions. The owners were friendly and helpful.

The bed was uncomfortable- double sized and for two people not really adequate for holiday accommodation. We rolled together into the middle as the mattress dipped. Clean bed linen and presentation. The bathroom was newly tiled with nice fittings. However, it was a toilet with a shower over the top. Worked okay though. No private space to dry off or change though. All very nicely set up, however.

We love the location and the fact that even this is in someone's backyard the privacy isn't an issue for either groups concerned. We have been so many times and will continue to visit as long as we can. Enjoy the chats with the owners as well, always a pleasure to connect through conversation.

The bed has rolled in ever since we've been here. It really needs attention. It isn't great for a good night sleep to thoroughly enjoy the stay.

Not aware there was a breakfast, but tbe location was amazing.
