Bongaree Ocean Villa

The host will meet you to introduce you to the onsite dog. Then give you the keys and show you the facility (shower and toilet are outside the main room).

The location was so convenient - out the gate and across the road and you are right on Bribie Passage. Perfect for early morning walks. Cafes and IGA not too far off either. The accommodation felt almost Japanese in style, and was a perfect little haven to return to after a day out. So much care has obviously been put into everything. Wifi was also provided, and stood up to video calls. The fernery around the accommodation was lovely, as were all the palms, and the outdoor lighting too. The complimentary bottle of wine was so thoughtful. The hosts were very friendly and up for a chat. The doggo was such a sweetie too - such a gentle giant.

Had to go outside to access the toilet/shower - very beautiful arranged, but I did get caught coming out in my PJs once, and did think that if people like my parents were to stay here, the step out during nighttime trips to the bathroom would worry me. Would have liked some curtains on a few more of the windows - it was reasonably private, but could be a little more private, especially after showers, since the only place for suitcases was in the main living space.

It really wasn't value for money. To be honest, I'm surprised it meets booking.com standards. It's more of a back yard project. The wetroom is outside the unit, beside a workshop
