A very nice, clean hotel with great breakfast.

We spent the day in Vik; black sand beach, hiking, The Soup Company, Lava Show and we're looking for a hotel near my. So happy we found the Volcano Hotel. We preordered a yummy dinner of lamb and char with dessert. We watched the Northern Lights from our bed. So cool. Breakfast was tasty too. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommend.

We would absolutely stay again. This boutique hotel, which started out as a school house has the feel of a wonderful bed-and-breakfast. The staff is very small and wonderful. The person who welcomes you and checks you in is the same person who makes your dinner reservations and asks you what you would like for dinner so she can prepare it. There were three entry choices. All were delicious. Breakfast was also very good. Unfortunately, it was cloudy the evening we were there, but on a clear night this is the ideal location to see the northern lights.

Our stay was really good, great service. The room was big, very well decorated and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Very good breakfast too! Very well located.

The Volcano Hotel was outside of Vik situated by itself. The room was very nice with heated bathroom floor. The quality of the stay was surprisingly really good after the first impression when driving up. It is a small hotel but everything inside was very nice. Breakfast the next morning was better than most places we stayed at.
