Volcano hotel

We were leaving early on our last day and the staff prepared us a breakfast to go the night before. Highly recommend staying here. Very cozy and the food was delicious. The showers were lovely after a long day of hiking and being outdoors.

Our room was great with a beautiful view. The owner was super nice and made fresh bread for breakfast, which was delicious!

Clean and staff were nice. The bottle of shampoo in my bathroom had run out when I used it. Maybe an oversight. Breakfast included was a nice touch.

This was a very unique property in a rural, lovely setting. The rooms were spacious and modern. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was certainly sufficient and included with the room. This was a great stopping point for us.

We met the friendliest people there! I think the hotel draws many interesting people. Great place!

Great location right on the main highway. Hotel is tucked away far from the street so no road noise. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was great. Room was spacious and comfortable. We got the room that you could park your car by it so it was easy to get the bags in and out. Dining area had a nice setup and there was also a cozy living room area set up for TV and board games.

Well managed Hotel with great service, clean room, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was wonderful, inn taker was above and beyond for the service. Quiet location, close to black sand beach and just 10 minutes drive to town of Vik.

Volcano Hotel was great for our group of 8. It was clean and the dining/common area was nice for gathering. Breakfast was wonderful! There were no controls for heat in individual rooms and at least one was too warm. There were some issues with no response to emails prior to our arrival and there was no one to check us in when we arrived but were responsive a while after we messaged. The location was good for getting to Vik and nice and dark for viewing the northern lights, which we were treated to, even from the windows of our room. I would definitely stay there again.

Simply perfect. Quiet, easy, beautiful location.

Check-in was easy, the rooms were clean and comfortable, there was a nice breakfast served every morning, the staff were super friendly and easy to talk to, the yard around the hotel made it easy to see the aurora borialis as the hotel is away from any commercial lights. We all loved staying at The Volcano Hotel and encourage others to check it out.
