Friendly staff, great coffee in the lobby

We were unable to find the staff for a long time at check in. It would have been helpful if they had left a sign. The suite had everything we needed, although I did find it amusing that they had a coffee maker in the room without any coffee. They have coffee in the lobby so it really wasn't necessary but would have been nice. The toiletries were basic and there wasn't a hairdryer but they gave us plenty of towels. The second bedroom was perfect for kids. The pool and game room made it very family friendly as well. The one drawback for us was that neither of the two TVs in our suite worked. So the room isn't the real destination. It's more about the experience of the island. It is a great older property with lots of character so if you enjoy a unique experience this is the place.

No assigned parking slots-at all, except for maintenance manager. in room, dresser drawers was broken (called for maintenance). TV signal was very snowy/grainey(poor connection, called twice for service). Had no breakfast condiments for patrons!

Nice location central to all but still very quiet.

Many people described this place correctly, old with charm which I agree. Biggest issue was lack of parking. Part of the problem are all the golf carts. They need a solution. Circling the parking lot at 9p with nothing available is pushing me to find a different hotel.

Television and Internet were broken/out of commission for the entire stay as if it had been down for quite a while!
