Hotel Floris Arlequin Grand-Place

It was hot (88 degrees) and they refused to enable the air conditioners! They turned the circuit breakers off and removed the remote controls to the a/c units in every room. I was on the top floor so it was 90 degrees in my room and they just shrugged and said it was the policy of the building owner to disable the a/c until June 1, so the hotel wasn't responsible. It was 2 days of misery. The location was close to the tourist sites, but you have to drag your bags over 200 yards of cobblestones since no cars are allowed. I was however fortunate that the construction workers were taking that time off. It is undergoing an extensive remodeling and people have complained it is very noisy along with any rooms facing the street.

The location was fantastic, and the breakfast offerings were good.

No fridge, no coffee/tea making facilities, and uncomfortable bed

Moquette sale dans la chambre, pas de clim, hôtel en travaux, ascenseur qui semble peu fiable...

The noise of building works. The areas under renovation. I thought it expensive given that its currently partly a building site

The staff particularly one of them was extremely rude and I felt extremely unsafe, the whole hotel is under renovation, with paint fumes and construction dust. The rooms are dirty, the carpets are extremely dirty, no proper pillows. There’s no kettle. The lift also broke down, and we had to walk up and down 5 floors, the stair case had lots of construction material everywhere, very poor condition and hazardous

Too noisy, no air conditioning, very noisy in street below, much too expensive for what I had...EUR150...should have paid 20-30 eur mor and gone to mor upscale hotel.
