Harmony Bay Resort and Dive Center

we loved everything here! the locations is so peaceful, quiet and beautiful, the food was very good and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. special thanks to gusman (hope i got the spelling right;) for being so attentive, always helpful and professional with the biggest smile, also to Is the amazing dive guide, he is so patient, thorough and always planned the trips around what we wanted to see and then pointed out lots of creatures during the dives. we also enjoyed snorkeling the house reef, kayaking and relaxing in the hammock. we spent a wonderful 6 days here and hope to return someday!

Only problem there was mosquitoes, and only place I stayed in Indonesia were you paid for WiFi.

The Harmony Bay resort is located on a perfect, nearly unreal robinson-like beach on a jungle island in one of the most remote areas of the world. Such a place naturally comes with some (harmless!) encounters with animals and bugs you are not used to have in your room in the traditional "western world". Having said this, the place closely resembles a nature paradise (at least for people who crave some break from "civilisation"). The Togean islands in general offer really great nature experiences, with exceptional diving and snorkelling. The corals of the "house reef" around Harmony bay are in amazing condition. Any little concessions to nature (such as very limited electricity, no WiFi, the airy and as such also not too concealed rooms) are more than compensated by the tremendously attentive and super-nice staff. Apart from helping us with all our wishes, they and the management supported us with outstanding professionalism and kindness to overcome a quite difficult situation. We are very thankful to everyone who was involved again for your outstanding help and organisational talents - we appreciate that this was far beyond from what could be expected! We are highly convinced that there is no better place on the Togeans to spend your vacation and you will hardly find nicer people!

Everything was outstanding, nothing to dislike!

Great place! A really friendly and positive atmosphere. Rooms are very clean and nice. The beach is stunning with white sand and warm sea...dolphins swimming past one day. Food was very good and varied. Highly recommend.

This is a place in the nature so no internet, no sounds and complete relax. Nice staff and good food. The tour to Mélange island was our highlight and we loved it

Change the tents and the mosquito nets in the room and wash the hammock as they are really dirty.

Dreamlike bay, lovely beach. No waste at the beach or in the water. Beautiful and very diverse reef just in front of the resort. Perfect for snorkeling and relaxing. We had one of the front-row beach bungalows with an amazing view. Is (that's his name) is a great dive master who speaks English fluently. Most of the personnel knew our names though we only stayed five nights. There's absolutely no Internet connection (if necessary you can get one by taking a kayak and going to the next bay, it takes 2 minutes) which we really enjoyed. Very good food, snack included. Outstanding mindfulness concerning environmental issues, wildlife and waste-management. Would recommend it to a friend.

Management could have been a little more organized and flexible. They give you what you need but we had to ask very specifically. There's room service every four days or so. You're very close to the jungle so you have to expect visitors such as spiders, mice or snakes on your roof. Those animals will leave you alone and mind their own business, if you feel uncomfortable with them you can ask the personnel to remove them animal-friendly. They don't put out poison or hurt them, they just put them back into the jungle, which we really appreciated.
