Harmony Bay Resort and Dive Center

The quality of food and snacks was really good. We appreciated the free boat service to Wakai and staff was really friendly.

The structure didn t inform about the long period during the day while the sea is low and there is an high presence of algae which makes difficult to swimnduring the afternoon. Second row bungalows need a restoration and in generally very humid. It would be nice if the structure inform guests at their arrive about the presence of rats, big spiders and various Insect just to be skilled.

The staff was very friendly. They even played volleyball with us. The afternoon snack and the food was very delicious. Free Pick up from Wakai.

A little bit of seagras infront of the bungalows, but you can rent a kanu. A pier would be awesome.

Staff was very friendly, the location is beautiful. The food is good and the atmosphere is lovely. You eat with the other guests which we really liked. Beautiful bay, beautiful coral reef.

There are too few beach side seats/beds available, which is inconvenient when you're staying in the cottages that aren't at the beachfront. Staff cleans the paths very well, but the cottages itself are not cleaned during the stay, so we had a lot of debris from insects in the bathroom all the time. Cabins are partly open so be prepared for some rats, snakes, bats and cockroaches. Not a problem and part of the experience staying in the Togeans, but good to know.

Amazing staff and food - great atmosphere

We stayed in the more expensive beachfront bungalows, which were unusually spacious and comfortable, especially with the two hammocks on the porch overlooking the ocean. The people working in Harmony Bay were very friendly and helpful, the food (three meals included in the price) was delicious and each meal provided more than we could eat. We were only six people there, but the place is very well organized and I guess it would still be very nice when more crowded.

The place is very beautiful and the sunset amazing. The cottages have a great view of the sea. The food is very simple but good.

Unfortunately, the department lacks someone to lead the team. It starts as soon as you arrive. Nobody greets you, you only know which hut you are in because someone from the boat puts your bags in front of the door. Where there is coffee and tea, guests who are already there have to explain to you. What the resort offers, education about activities, diving, excursions and so on, nobody does. The team does the most necessary things, but mostly just sits around. While the hotel grounds and garden need maintenance. They fall apart, mosquitoes multiply unchecked and rooms are only wiped on request. There is simply a lack of management that knows how to run such a place. The local staff are extremely nice but it seems like no one can take responsibility. I think the local people are not trained for this and you can tell. The place could be a paradise, but without management, it doesn't work by itself. You then feel alone and without a host. So I would not recommend the resort to anyone. It's not exactly cheap either. That's really a pity.
