Garner Hotel Murfreesboro West by IHG

When we entered the room it had a very musty smell. You couldn't open the windows so the smell stayed the entire night. When we woke up the next morning the bathroom was covered in water. We went to breakfast and the buffet was far below the Holiday Inn Express standards. The lobby restrooms both had problems. On of the women's toilets didn't work and the men's urinal didn't work. I asked the clerk to at least reduce the price because of the situation. She refused saying she would add some extra Reward Points. We are considering changing to another hotel chain. It is interesting there are no electric signage identifying these as a Holiday Inn Express property. This property does live up to the Holiday Inn Express standards.

No breakfast but egg white and cereal the water wasn’t working right for a shower noise elevator this place is a little run down. Definitely do not recommend going

Old and run down,no coffee in room, in need of up dates, it did seem clean enough

This hotel is very nice and the staff are even nicer. It truly makes a difference when the staff actually shows that they care. My Dad is a disabled veteran and he had alot of complications during his stay. This staff went above and beyond to assist my Father when they did not have to. They did it out of the kindness of their heart. Shelly and Amy were amazing and anyone who interacts with them is lucky. Even the manager AJ reached out to me to check on my Dad. Shelly called me on a daily basis & I cant even list out all that she did to assist during his stay. Thank you all so much!

SPARTEN INTERIOR..NOT INVITING AT ALL. STAYED BECAUSE FAIRFIELD INN WASN'T AVAILABLE. DEFINITELY SUB PAR TO THE MMANY COICES ONE HAS

Exercise room

Breakfast was aweful! Shower curtains too short! No pool! Bathroom old!

The blow dryer in my room didn't work. I didn't discover this until my hair was already wet out of the shower. The hotel staff did bring me a different blow dryer the next morning. I traveled with a colleague whose shower had no hot water. Cold showers were her destiny during her stay. Also, her TV didn't work, and there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. She was moved to a new room. This new room is the room where the shower didn't work.

Needs remodeling / upgrades

Had to change rooms because the curtains were broken. Then in my new room the fridge was leaking and the carpet was wet.
