Marriott Savannah Riverfront

This was a nice hotel overall. They were having a military ball there the same time I checked in so really I do not like weddings, balls, and other events when I am at a hotel. It just adds to noise and too much activity/annoying people. Yet, it was okay. That's just my preference. I did not get riverfront with a balcony but at least I got a room with a view. Did not expect a huge cargo ship to pass by my window but it was interesting. If In Savannah again, I would consider staying here again.

To expensive 80 dollars for pancakes and eggs no no .

Prices for food and parking is ridiculous high. Pillows suck to lumpy and soft .

At check in, the desk said my reservation was cancelled. Further information disclosed a family member had checked into their room so the desk thought there were two reservations for the same person and cancelled my reservation. The Jr. suite I had had very poor lighting and insufficient lamps to illuminate the living area. The bed was not comfortable and furnature was fairly worn. This room should be updated as it made for a disappointing stay.

Great location. Great customer service! Rooms are older and need updating, but clean and tidy! Staff is excellent.

Regrettably this has to be one of the worst Marriott experiences to date. The hotel is extremely poorly maintained. Air in the hallways emit a moldy smell. Room AC the same. The Lounge roof was leaking to the point they had to shut down the lounge. The quality of the rooms was Motel 6 like, we had a suite but had to be moved at 3am to another room as the AC went out. You could hear the elevator system in the rooms near the elevator, overall just a poor experience. Marriott can do much better.

The room was nice and the view was great to watch the ships come in. The breakfast was good but for 2 people it was over $50. We booked the trip before leaving and used our credit card. When we checked out they tried to charge us again even though I showed them where I paid. I will NEVER go back to this hotel. They are a bunch of thieves.

The hotel itself and the rooms were very nice and clean. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly!

The pool and its location left a lot to be desired.

I enjoyed the Savannah River Front Marriott. I had a Junior Suite which exceeded my expectations. This Marriott is where I always stay when I go to Savannah.
