Need to extend time for having someone at the front desk. And let people knoe that are away from front of hotel about letting hot water run for a while so it heat up.

I cannot comment on the MedBed experience, but this facility is currently substandard as a hotel. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for the night, that is what you will get, but nothing more. They were still actively remodeling, which made the experience unsightly and uncomfortable. We ended up cancelling the reservation and staying elsewhere...although we did pay more.
