DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix- Tempe

I loved the large size of the rooms. It also has an on location restaurant that was really fun to hang out in!

The design of the buildings and rooms were so cool. The room was large and very comfortable. We used the airport shuttle to and from the airport and the driver Tim was so friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions about the area.

No problems in the slightest - they even give you warm cookies when you check in

Was not told of any amenities the hotel offered. Very noisy neighbors and I asked if security would resolve this and was given vague reply. Then another group of guests were yelling and swearing near my room while I was trying to sleep and this was not addressed in a timely manner. Lighting on grounds was quite poor with reduced visibility for security when walking to the lobby.

First and foremost, the staff at this hotel were truly outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and friendly, going out of their way to ensure that my stay was as pleasant as possible. They were also very helpful when it came to addressing any concerns I had.

Unfortunately, my initial room (246) was not up to par. The tub had drainage issues, taking an unusually long time to empty, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room that detracted from the overall experience. I believe that the hotel could benefit from some upgrades and aesthetic updates, as the exterior has potential to be really inviting. With a little attention to these areas, it could become a much more appealing destination.
