Friendly staff. Beautiful and clean rooms, great restuarants, and great view of the Queen's Park Savannah!

Staff are very nice and helpful. The breaksfast view is amazing.

An overall exceptional stay with great ambience at the buffet breakfast. The room was quite clean and accomodating as well.

The hotel is in the middle of town and very accessible, the staff are exceptional and the rooms were very clean if a little tired.

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE… An incident occurred during my stay at the Kapok Hotel from March 22nd to March 26th, 2026. My husband and I received a warm welcome upon arrival and proceeded to our room, number 384. However, our stay was marred by an unfortunate event. On the morning of March 26th, I discovered that several items had been stolen from our room. We had left the room between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. the day before (25th) and returned after 8:00 p.m. the same day. The stolen items that were taken on the 25th included a black leather Nine West handbag containing a “QINLIANF 5 Outlet Extender with 4 USB Charging Ports, 3-Sided 1680J Power Strip Multi Plug Adapter Spaced for Home Travel Office” which I had purchased as a gift for my niece. The handbag was stored in the closet to the right. On the morning of March 26th, my niece informed me that she would be stopping by to collect the gift, and I intended to meet her downstairs with the bag. However, upon retrieving my belongings, I found that the handbag was missing. Despite searching the room and my suitcases, I was unable to locate it. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk, and it is currently under investigation. Following checkout, I visited a sister before departing from Trinidad and discovered that additional items, including a pack of three men's white under shirts (XL) and a dress-length dashiki, were missing from my suitcase. These were gifts. I notified the hotel, initially reporting the shirts. I anticipate that the Operations Manager and other disciplines will do a thorough investigation as I await the outcome which I will certainly share with you. Photos of other items unavailable

This is a good affordable option in POS, because so many hotels are so overpriced. The Kapok has a very good restaurant Kava for its pizza and curries. The breakfast is not that good, limited options ans bread is stale and juices watered down. The room remind me of a Motel 6 and neat. Try to stay in the back because the noise from the cars never stops and is annoying. Housekeeping is also really loud in the morning and should be mindful that folks are resting and working. Lovely main area and a friendly enough reception.
