Staff were great, and food was amazing. The beds were comfortable with lovely bedding and a perfect rain shower too.

"Great location and very popular pub 9"

8.0

Friendly staff, room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

We were not aware of how popular the restaurant was and were unable to get a booking for lunch or dinner which was a shame.

"We enjoy the hotel have stayed before and will do so again"

7.0

The food, both dinner and breakfast was very good. Staff faultless. The selection of drinks from the bar is very good with cask ales as well. wine selection for dinner was also good, as well as sensibly priced.

Parking is very difficult, we left our cars nearly half a mile away as nearby streets too narrow and car park full. But the parking was safe and we were not concerned. The rooms and corridors need a face lift./decorating. But at £53 per room one can't complain too much!
