Sorell Business Hotel Ador Bern

Great staff and excellent location

Breakfast really good, room is sparse for price and no guide for the 999 channels on the tv. Plus is that it is a short walk to the trains station and city transportation hub. The WiFi is not encrypted so I can't imagine using it for business.

It was 31* C (88*F) in the room when we arrived, even though it was only 28* outside. The hotel put a fan in the room, but as the window could not be fully opened (and their was no air conditioning) the temperature remained in the 30’s until well into the night. It felt like a sauna. I think I would consider staying at this hotel in the winter, but would not want to do so again in the warmer months.

This hotel was excellent. Very clean and comfortable room not very far from the rail station near old town Bern. The breakfast was good, with a great variety. The staff were all friendly and nice. I gave the "room comfort" a 3 because, as best as I could tell, it didn't have air conditioning. Just one of those cooling fans (better than a regular fan, but definitely not an air conditioner! Lol). We were on the street side of the building, so it was a little too loud for opening the window. Also, the TV was a little old and we weren't able to connect the computer to it, and since we don't speak Swiss or German, there was no TV. This wasn't as big a deal as no AC in the height of summer, but it was a slight annoyance.

This hotel is a good option for whom wants to stay close to train station. It is in walkable distance to the old town of Bern. It offers Bern travel card which valids from the date of check in to the date you check out. Fare options in breakfast buffet, but there has nice staff to serve you. Clean and tidy room, although a bit small, it is very comfortable.

Good hotel for one or two nights. Rooms are rather small.Hotel is within walking distance of train and the old section of Bern. Good breakfast. Hotel more suited for business.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sorell Hotel Ador. The staff was great. We got good recommendations from them, and they were helpful. The hotel's location is good, very close to the train station and close to the old town. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts they provided were excellent. The only bad thing I can think to say about this visit is that the room was a little small. Other than that, we'll definitely stay here the next time we're in Bern.

No air-conditioning so even on a cool night the room was 25 degrees (The heating didn't seem to be on, so I have no idea why it is that hot). They supply you with a fan, but a hotel this size should really come with air-conditioning. I definitely wouldn't stay here in summer.
