Actually, I had a very good experience at this location. The staff was very friendly and addressed all of my questions to restaurants in the areas, entertainment, etc. Tiera, who I believe is a manager at this location was very professional and wanted to make sure that I had a good experience there!

This hotel is in dire need of an overhaul. You can tell as soon as you get to the elevators on the main floor that the hotel dated. The walls are predominantly pale yellow, popcorn ceilings, dated lighting, and that's before I got into my room. The TV's are small, the bed creaks, the bathrooms are dated, my shower curtain rod was hanging from cracked surrounds and sagged where the curtain wouldn't even stay closed. They have updated the foyer, and the manager did indicate they have plans to update the hotel, but I had to check out and stay another night somewhere else. The hotel staff was great and understanding, so much appreciated to them, but I likely won't stay here again.

Everything was neat and tidy. Any problems I had was immediately resolved. They were doing a few updates when I left. The updates they added when I was there made the stay more pleasurable. I was there for almost 5 months due to an insurance claim on my home.

Outdoor pool was closed for repairs. And night cleaning staff left dishes and trash in thr hallways. Other than that it was fantastic.

It is unacceptable to offer ADA rooms to disabled people the hotel doesn't have available to offer - much less attach premium rates to ADA rooms - but upon arrival, to switch disabled customers to a regular room while continuing to invoice at the ADA rate. Our reservation was made (2) months prior but this location knowingly had a 'year-round tenant' actually living out of the (1) ADA room with roll in shower. They knew this and waited until hours before our check-in to alert us to the fact that the wheelchair accessible room we needed is already occupied. Hilton chain fails to appreciate the hardship this causes disabled patrons and the last minute notification prevented us from mitigating the circumstances ahead of our 4hr drive to ensure we had adequate ADA accommodations. The response of the mgmt was to clamp a large flat piece of wood which blocked the entire half of the tub within a non-ADA room so the disabled person was required to wedge footing between the side of the commode 6-inches away from the tub wall. Had we been notified at any point between February 2023 when we booked and April 2023 when we arrived, we could have simply chosen another hotel. Ultimately, Hilton's response to our complaint to their Guest Services Administrative team amounted to 'sorry. hope your next stay is better.' Hilton may not care how they treat chronically disabled people, may feel it's appropriate to fraudulently upcharge handicapped people for rooms they reserve at a premium rate presented as 'ADA' rooms -- and they apparently don't care that combat-disabled veterans are treated and subsequently regarded with such blatant disregard by the hotel and Guest Services. I will have to pursue a fraudulent charge with my credit card company because I have demanded a refund for the room charging me for the full ADA room rate I had reserved/billed because we were relegated to a cheaper, non-ADA room. I also asked for a refund of the $50 incidentals fee’ we were charged ‘for nothing’ and without notice upon checking in even after this gross mishandling of our reservation. I have stayed at many hotels for business and pleasure over the decades and this experience is ‘the worst.’ It is contemptible that Hilton feels it appropriate to fraudulently upcharge disabled people who need ADA rooms and actually denying them that ADA room to force them to stay in a regular room. We were there for a hospital procedure and wanted to recover ahead of the drive home. We ended up leaving after the procedure - so it cost us over $350 for what was ultimately a single night for a king-nonADA room. Chronically disabled veterans and seniors need to take their business elsewhere. This hotel knowingly accepts bookings for rooms they have no intention of providing but will fraudulently bill you at that higher room rate anyway. It is straight fraud, theft and I feel worthy of bringing this matter to the attention of State and federal consumer protection agencies for further investigation.
