Extended Stay America Select Suites - Chicago - Downers Grove

Staff is very friendly and helpful, room is nice and functional for an extended stay. Blankets are very thin so recommended bringing your own so you don’t freeze. Would come back because the price is affordable and location is great.

Bathroom tubs need an upgrade

Everything was dirty including the sheets. There were no hygiene products available not even soap. I felt unsafe the entire night

Plenty of room in the rooms , clean , nice hot water in shower and good water pressure in some rooms !

You only get the toilet paper that’s there when you get there they ran out during our stay and was not able to order more till some time next month ! The chair was broke and hurt to sit in it ! No light in the fridge !

No one was at the desk all night i left my key in the room at 11pm and couldn’t get back in til 6 am the hallways reek of cigarettes and alcohol!! Worst experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nopes great

This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Buyer’s BEWARE. The girl at the front desk started telling us about the smoking policy (the no smoking policy) and literally kept trying to lecture us. We do not even smoke. She kept making jokes about “it’s just not worth it for any of us” and we literally do not even smoke. The front desk said it opened at 10, and I sat there from 10 until 10:45 and it still was not open. I found chewed up gum in my room. Damage in my room. The bath tub wouldn’t drain while I was showering, but there was NOBODY available to help as the front desk isn’t manned and when you call they hang up on you. I’ve included pictures of the GUM, the dirt and the damage.

My only issue is the lack of decent sized towels. We got just two small bath towels and two wash cloths. Could have used a couple more towels.
