Sleep Inn Fredericksburg North

Our room had a pungent odor of what seemed to be cat spray and mildew. I was checking the mattress for bedbugs etc (as I do at every hotel I visit) to find significant spots of mold on both the mattress and the mattress pad as well as some significant staining on the mattress. Some of the lighting in the room did not work, and our key had to be reassigned 2 separate times in order for it to work in our door. Since I am newly pregnant and my husband has severe allergies to both cats and mold, we chose to leave. It seemed like asking for a different room would not significantly help or change anything, so we checked out the same night and left. I unfortunately would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Very friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable! I very much enjoyed my stay! I would definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

It was a good value. The room was clean and had enough space. The beds were comfortable and the staff were nice. There was plenty of parking. I also liked that it was enclosed like a regular hotel, unlike many Inns that have the room door entrances through the outside of the building.

The only thing I didn't like was that the carpet in the hallway was very dirty with lots of stains. The most dirty I've seen at a hotel. It really brought down the appearance of the whole facility.

The road smelled god awful like mildewed floor and strong chemicals. The floor was damp it was horrible

Despite this being a non-smoking facility, the room was pungent with a stale cigarette odor.

Smelled bad. Pull out sofa horrible- all springs. Did not use shower - mold in it. Lots of nice but sketchy people outside. Big room. Some lights not working. Sad. Nice check in guy- Nate. Sad breakfast area.
