Upon arrival, my room had a broken a/c and the mini fridge did not work. first room was clean. The staff on duty was quick to help, and assist very grateful and moved me to a 2nd room. The door lock had issues so for a 3rd time the room had to be moved that room smelled like smoke, and was dirty stains on the floor. Again staff was Great with helping. My 2nd night into my stay, I was woken up to the sound of an incident involving law enforcement. Again, I hate leaving bad reviews but this was a rough stay. The staff did the best they could, and I have nothing bad to say about the staff, food was good, breakfast every morning.

Despite the property being dated, the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities were awesome. The towels and linens were really clean and fresh!

"More aggravation than necessary"

The location was great & I just admit it was clean.

There was no maintenance on site. I also had to try multiple room doors upon my arrival because they wouldn’t open. Finally, got into a room and the toilet FLOODED! We were moved to another room and then the air conditioner didn’t work. After that I was given two more doors to try and neither opened! Front staff manually opened one room and I was stuck in the room until check out since stepping out would mean locking myself out.

Was charged way more than i was supposed to for a double bed room when i booked a queen, did not have access to our room due to technical issues with the key reader. Next day was locked completely out due to them, moving our room without notification locking all of our belonging in the room gentleman that I spoke with about the situation was the only nice employee they had working at this establishment. Both rooms were covered in mold in the bathrooms and completely disgusting. Notified this gentleman that I was requesting a full refund on my stay due to not being satisfied and feeling like I was taking advantage of extremely understanding informed he would speak to the general manager upon check out this morning. I spoke with another employee who was extremely rude and basically told me that because I booked through a third-party that it was out of their hands and nothing she could do for me I will never again stay asleep in especially this one. I was very much advise against anyone else staying at this facility.

I received a voicemail at 4:30pm the day of check-in letting me know my reservation was being canceled because the hotel was overbooked and I could contact Expedia for a refund. I had to scramble at the last minute to find another room on my drive from Florida to RI. Luckily, I was just a few minutes from the Sleep Inn in Smithfield NC and was able to get the one rooms they had left. The staff at that location was extremely kind and helpful.

I attempted to get a refund for the last day. The property never answered, so Expedia just ignored everything. I was supposed to be called the next day. Now it’s been 10 days, and absolutely no answer back. Just ghosted. There are bugs in the room, and loud neighbors the entire night. Yelling, and drinking in parking lot. My son died and I had to fly home. The owner of my company came to take my place. It was embarrassing that I picked that hotel. He stayed 1 night and was disgusted and checked out

this was by far the worst experience I,ve had with any motel. I stayed at the SLEEP INN when it was located on the south end of Fredericksburg; as my son lives in town. First of all I was very tired, and just wanted to relax Watch the news: as I had traveled for 2 days from Florida. First the T.V. only had 1 channel, and the volume didn'work. Called the front desk and the person on duty claimed there was nothing he could do, and hung up on me. During the night I decided to cancel my last 2 nights stay. Again I was told by the same front-desk person: that he couldn't do that. When i was leaving the next morning:: I asked if the coffee was ready. It wasn't out ( as it was after 6:30 ) Reluctantly the front desk person went to get the containers. I drew a cup and left. When I got to my car; I tasted the coffee; AND IT WAS ICE COLD> This so called Motel should be removed for good. I can't imagine what the continental breakfast was like.
