RedDoorz Plus @ Roxas Street Davao

The staff gave me room with lights that was impossible to turn off. However, they changed this room to another one that was clean and perfect for me.

In theory, Mastercard was supposed to be applicable method of payment. In reality I had to visit money changer by tricycle twice to collect additional cash 1000 Peso for deposit after sleepless nights in airplanes.

The hotel is clean enough and the housekeeping staff are pleasant to talk to, especially Miss Angel.

But the rest of the staff is kind of bastos (rude) most of the time. They don't want to be bothered. Also, it's listed as a budget hotel but be careful for price fluctuations once you are there and might want to rebook. Out first booking was 1300 pesos then the price hiked to 2300. This is NOT a 2300 pesos hotel! Plus, the air cond had a problem and the power for the unit kept turning off, the staff tapped it as a way to fix it and said "after all it's a budget hotel." That's a bad answer and hey 2300 for the night it happened is not a budget price.

It’s really close to Roxas night market.

Cleanliness should be improved especially changing the towels and beddings.

Wow, your hotel SUCKS BIG TIME! I booked a double bed through Agoda and guess what? The property gave me a twin bed and they said they can’t adjust it even if they have available double bed. So ANNOYING AND RIDICULOUS. I’m never staying here and will NEVER REFER this hotel to anyone.
