Hyatt Place Atlanta / Norcross / Peachtree

Just ok… front desk staff were entirely unhelpful and seemed uninterested in being there…. Room was dated but clean… fire alarm went off EVERY NIGHT of my 3-night stay, sometimes multiple times in the middle of the night. Also parking had a charge which seemed odd and expensive.

It was clean, very clean. The room had adequate lighting, They have a pool, They have breakfast. They have a desk. There is a nice couch for all four of us. There is adequate storage. A hair dryer, an iron. A fridge.

It was a distance from our destination, it had windows that were thin, so we could hear the traffic outside, and hear when people honked their horns in front of the building, even at four stories up. The big T.V. did not work. Their parking costs money(considered a hidden cost), which is fine, except it is not included in the cost of the room. The waist bag was not in the waste container ready for use. A useless door to the next room because they were not able to accommodate two rooms next to each other. The windows could not be opened, and they were both covered in dirty air particles. The sink was not in the bathroom, so I had to use toilet paper to open the door handle.

I was initially given a room where the floor was soaked near the AC unit, which could have led to mold. I was also told that after paying for parking, it would have been free for a five-day stay—but I wasn’t able to get a refund. They moved me to another room because of the issue, but that room was already occupied. It turned out the same employee who checked me into the first room hadn’t properly marked the second room as taken. By the end of it, Tracy understood our frustration and did what she could to make things right. Her help made a big difference and improved the experience for both me and my wife. Also we never heard from the manager about the issue that take place from square one.

Very poorly maintained for a Hyatt. The front desk resources were not helpful most of the time. Only the manager could assist us. The breakfast is just terrible spread. The fridge in the room didn't cool enough to keep the food good. The sink would clog every couple of days. Housekeeping came to the room even though we didn't request for service.

Trash was overflowing and spilled out in the hallway right at the elevator. My key card stopped working in the middle of my stay. It was surprisingly cheap the two nights that I stayed. Overall good deal for what I paid. The room itself appeared to be clean, though there was a stain in the carpet.
