Hyatt Place Richmond Arboretum

Plenty of parking , but they make you pay for it. Breakfast was not good at all. Very clean room but Musty smell. Wish it had more options.

This was my first time staying at a Hyatt brand hotel. Unfortunately I was not impressed. It was okay. I removed two stars because microwaves are not in the rooms and they charge $8.49 per day for parking. WHY.... I asked and was told it's something they do. This was not a realistic explanation. But on the good side the room was very large and fairly clean. I only saw two strains of hair. One on the toilet seat and the other in the sink. Thanks for my one and only experience Hyatt.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The location of the hotel is good, and the gentleman who checked me in was polite and welcoming. When I first checked in, I dropped off my luggage and left shortly after. When I returned later that evening, I noticed that the bed in my room was visibly dirty, which is completely unacceptable. I reported it right away, but instead of offering a room change, I was told I could come pick up clean sheets myself. Regardless of timing, a hotel room should be clean and ready upon arrival. A dirty bed is not acceptable under any circumstance, and the way this was handled made the situation. I also want to mention that the assistant manager, Andrea, was rude during my interaction. While the general manager had a more positive attitude, she was ultimately not helpful in resolving the issue. I have photos documenting the condition of the room. A clean bed is the most basic expectation, and the lack of cleanliness combined with poor service made this an unacceptable stay. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.
