Waldorf Astoria Versailles - Trianon Palace

The Palace wing is undeniably modern and spacious, and the housekeeping and breakfast team is a rare bright spot of genuine politeness. It is just a shame the rest of the guest experience felt like a social experiment in tiered hospitality. Afternoon tea was a particularly silent affair; while the French guests were treated to an orchestral explanation of their meal, we were served our etageres with a curt "enjoy" and zero context. It is fascinating how "limited English" only seems to apply to the food descriptions and not the ordering process. However, the real "Waldorf experience" arrived via the Spanish-speaking front desk agent (South American lady). For the bargain price of over 500€ a night, I didn't realize I was also purchasing a lecture in parking-ticket paranoia. To be met with "there will be trouble" over a lost slip of paper—while the staff simultaneously failed to operate the parking gate they promised to open twice—was a masterclass in hostile hospitality. If your goal was to make a guest feel like a secondary school student in detention, congratulations: mission accomplished.

Pequeno almoço bom e de acordo com o tipo e categoria de hotel. Restaurante La Veranda bom, mas lista reduzida e sem variações de pratos ao longo dos dias. Restaurante Gordon Ramsay com exclusividade de 1 menu aos fins de semana torna a escolha impossível para quem prefira comer à lista.+ Enquadramento no parque magnífico. Bom serviço de concierge.

La maître nageuse qui se permet de faire des commentaires digne de la maternelle à des personnes adultes au niveau de la piscine. Mes amis ont chahuté deux petites minutes, elle nous a interpellé en nous disant que nous n’étions pas à la piscine municipale. En sachant qu’il y avait des enfants, juste avant qui riait et jouer dans la piscine, je pense que cela était plus que déplacé.

J’ai aimé l’équipe à la conciergerie et à l’accueil qui se sont empressé de me changer de chambre car dans celle-ci il y avait une odeur de canalisation. Ils ont été très réactif
