Great place with very nice views of Aoraki as well as planes in the air field. Very close to Twizel. Mary was a delight and was very nice to chat with. Nice little breakfast room where you can make your own thing.

A special place - a hotel next to the airport runway, with a mountain landscape. All rooms are spacious and bright - both rooms, kitchen and guest lounges. Quiet and calming atmosphere, which helps to relax after a day of hiking.

The biggest complaints are about the wifi. It was the only place we visited in New Zealand where the amount of internet usage was specifically limited. Maybe that would be ok too, but the "internet voucher" (handwritten string of numbers, left on the table) that had to be registered didn't work, and there was no one to ask why. Such a strange approach when even cheap campsites already have free internet access. The breakfast offer, which is currently more of a "basic set", could be improved.
