"Lovely and peaceful location"

Amazing location - remote and so peaceful, and only just a few mins drive to cafes & restaurants. Very well-maintained property and clean. The room feels very cosy with a spectacular sunrise view over the mountain! The bed was very comfortable. Lovely staff and complimentary breakfast.

"Parel op de hoogvlakte"

Ongelofelijke locatie: aan het vliegveldje van Twizel met een schitterend uitzicht over het dal en de bergen. Kraakheldere hemel, donderwolken en een dubbele regenboog, ongelofelijk mooi. De kamers zijn ruim, het ontbijt leuk: zelf mag je eitje bakken in de grote ontbijtruimte met mooi uitzicht!

"Außergewöhnliche Lage und definitiv eine Empfehlung. Wenige Zimmer"

- Schönes großes Zimmer mit gepflegter Ausstattung - In meinem Zimmer war sogar ein kleiner Kühlschrank, der in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wurde und ich glaube nicht alle Zimmer haben einen - Die Lounge im 2. Stock ist sehr gemütlich und bietet einen tollen Ausblick - einfaches aber gutes Frühstück - Mary die Inhaberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - nachts sehr ruhig - ausgefallene Lage direkt am Flughafen Pukaki gerade einmal 50 Meter von der Start-/Landebahn (aber kaum bzw. eigentlich gar kein Flugverkehr / kleiner Flughafen keine regelmäßigen Flüge) - Zimmer mit Veranda, perfekt um bei Nacht und klarem Himmel die Sterne zu beobachten

- leider nur begrenztes WLAN (2GB je Tag und Person) / es kann zwar zusätzliches Datenvolumen gekauft werden aber mit 5$ je GB nicht gerade preiswert - Frühstück ist keine freiwillige Option sondern ist bei der Buchung vorgegeben

The room was fabulous and the location is great. The place was easy to access and close to Twizel which you can access different restaurants and grocery stores. Mary was so professional in Aurora knowledge and we are also lucky enough to see one with Mary's guidance.

"Great and special location"

What I liked: The room was very spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, and the location was both ideal and original. Everything is very well looked after. The hosts were very helpful, and I really appreciated the easy access to the outside at night directly from the room to enjoy stargazing.

What I didn’t like: The room was a bit too bright, and considering the location, it would be great to have adjustable lighting. Also, it would be nice if other guests could not walk directly in front of the room.

"Perfect stay!"

Very quiet, nice open space view for sunset, good location (minutes drive from the 2 salmon shops, town, parks), lots of parking, friendly hosts, very clean, have in-room heater and strong shower! Would be back if I’m ever back in Twizel again!
