This flat is in an excellent location right in the heart of San Sebastian, very close to the fantastic La Concha beach but also near the Old Town. Having said that we found it very peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is bright and clean with modern decor, it feels spacious and is very well fitted out. We were six adults and had been a bit concerned about the cabin beds in bedroom 3 - a great room for children - but the beds were very comfortable and more than adequate for us. Idoia provided excellent communication in the few days leading up to and during the stay. There was some good information in the local guide in the apartment and Idoia also forwarded a digital copy. What a generous welcome package of a bowl of fruit, tea, coffee and biscuits etc. Thank you very much, we loved it !

Unfortunately, there was an issue with opening the entrance door on arrival via the app but Idoia was quick to respond and she came to meet us to let us in and show us around the apartment. Am sure this will be sorted. Another small thing - we weren't sure where to take our rubbish on checking out. We took the recycling items to the street recycling banks but it wasn't obvious where to put the non-recyclable items, although the instructions said ' on the other side of the street'.

The location was excellent. The beds were comfortable and we loved having a washer. we felt very safe and the elevator was wonderful. The bells of the nearby church were beautiful.

There was a lot of construction and the external to the apartment (stairs, hallways, etc) were very dusty. It was very hot at night sleeping. Removing all garbage, etc at checkout was a bit of a hassle.

Our Idoia was lovely, really easy to communicate with and provided us with lots of useful information about what to do and places to eat. The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet, the welcome bowl of fruit was much appreciated. The supermarket market is just opposite and the lift to the 4th floor made bringing in luggage etc easy. It's an easy walk from the bus station, about 6 mins and about the same to the beach or the old town. We enjoyed walking around to see the sights and particularly enjoyed the San Telmo museum and views from the hills at either end of the bay. There are plenty of shops around for retail therapy and the fabulous pintxos bars for food and drinks. Idoia gave us a list of the best ones. We also had an excellent 3 course meal at the Morgan Kompany, including half bottle of wine per person for €22.
