The Heather's Bed and Breakfast

The service was great and the facilities were lovely. My landlady was kind accommodating and made my stay nice and comfortable the room was very nice and the bathroom was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was good too. I would stay there again if I can in the future.

Nothing everything good

Breakfast was fine from the food perspective but a little strained as i had decided to leave after only one of my two nights booking. The room was clean if a little noisy from road noise. Bathroom was of a good standard.

i had read in the instructions that the owner required ‘limited noise’ after 10.30. My room was immediately above the owners bedroom. I made a phone call which ended at 10.34 and popped down to retrieve something from my car. I was challenged by the owner who came out in her nightclothes to tell me i was too loud on the phone and inconsiderate to have made a phonecall so late! I apologised went back to bed feeling very uncomfortable and did not turn the TV on to watch the news as i feared further approbation. I paid the full two nights without question as those are the rules of the booking and left unhappy with my stay.

Excellent facilities just slightly spoilt by traffic noise.

There were a lot of fruit flies in the house. The owner told me not to have TV on too loud due to her bedroom being underneath.
