Quality Inn & Suites Mt Chalet

I reserved a ground floor accessible king room. My confirmation stated the exact same room. Arrived to check in and was told no rooms available like I reserved, and they wanted to put me on 2nd floor with no elevator in a regular queen room. I said no. I have COPD and climbing stairs and I don’t do well. I was put in a ground floor 2 queen room, BUT it was NOT accessible, so there was NO bars around the tub to use. Then my bill went up $10.00 on top of not getting what I reserved!! Another couple in our group had reserved a king and was told no kings left and they were put in a 2 queen suite. What’s the point of reserving what you need if they will not honor what is on their website. Also, I was checking in 2 hours early and ask if my room I reserved would be ready at a later time and was told No, the rooms like that had already been given out. The staff was courteous and nice but that didn’t fix my problem!! They could not offer any other solution only apologize and that did not help me with the physical issues an accessible room would have met. I even called after reserving this room to verify my reservation and was told everything was good, I booked this room over 2 months in advance.

Always friendly staff and always clean.

I’ve stayed a few times at this location. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and smoke free.

Convenient to all locations I was visiting. Near restaurants, and town. Will be back!!
