Great hotel. Just can’t believe they missed house keeping. We need to go to the pool to get towels and then ask the front desk to get towels when we came back after dinner.

I am extremely disappointed with our stay at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort. We paid a premium price for two ocean-view rooms with balconies, expecting the luxury experience the Omni brand is known for. Instead, we spent the entire week with construction taking place directly outside our balconies, making them essentially unusable. Paying extra for ocean-view balconies only to have them rendered useless by construction is incredibly frustrating. It’s clear the property is in need of major repairs and renovations, but that work should not come at the expense of guests paying luxury resort prices. Guests shouldn’t be footing the bill—both financially and in experience—by staying in the middle of a construction zone. The overall condition of the property was also very concerning. Many of the deck boards are rotting, lattice around the decks is broken, and wildlife is constantly getting into the trash cans. Raccoons were regularly around the trash areas, which only adds to the feeling that the property is not being maintained properly. On top of that, there were large numbers of wasps and yellow jackets around the decks and common areas, which made it uncomfortable and at times unsafe to even sit outside. For a property charging luxury resort prices, basic pest control and maintenance should not be an issue. To make matters worse, there was also a strong sulfur/rotten egg smell around parts of the property that at times was so strong you could actually taste it in the air. There are far better options in Hilton Head for the money. Unfortunately, this resort feels neglected and far from the luxury experience the Omni name typically represents. In its current condition, it does not reflect the standards associated with other Omni resorts. I hope the management team and Omni corporate take this feedback seriously, because the current condition of this property does not live up to the reputation that the Omni brand typically represents

We spent three nights there and it was early enough that it was wonderfully uncrowded and relaxing. The room had a kitchenette, balcony, and ocean view (although it was a tiny bit tired). The pool is very spacious and beach is nice for walking. The spa there is also great. Ate at the onsite restaurant one night, and the food was very good. Would definitely go back!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! Just wish we had more time to enjoy the amenities, but "business first". We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Head Omni. When I arrived the check in was easy. The staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Clint arrived quickly to the room with our luggage and was helpful in telling me where things were. Molly and Braxton at the market were great when I had questions and needed a snack. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of well made breakfast food. The omelets and service were amazing there. Chili welcomed us in and our server Rochelle was so personable and great. Our room was immaculate and cleaned to perfection daily. We had a relaxing experience at the spa. The massages from Nikki and Norma were perfect. We did not use the pool but the hot tub was nice to have in the cooler weather.

The location was great! Loved the beach. Although it was too cold to use the pools they were maintained beautifully. The entire property was very well maintained.

The rooms aren’t insulated very well so it got very noisy at times. We were there during off season.

Great location and right on the beach. Also close to other venues and restaurants in the area. That said the hotel is dated and needs a facelift. Be careful of the resort charge which I feel is high and really prefer not to have them as you typically do not get the value. Food and bev prices are high but that is expected at a higher end hotel. There are a number of pools to choose so that is a nice feature.
