It was my birthday. The staff all said Happy birthday which was very kind of them. An absolute fantastic location

Our room radiator was set to freeze mode so it took a long time for the room to feel warm. Surely they could turn the heating up in rooms that are booked so it's warm when guests arrive

As a keen walker I have stayed in many coastal inns. The Anchor represented outstanding value for money The bed was super king and super comfy Breakfast great and none greasy Sea view was icing on the cake

For the very acceptable price it would be rude to single out any tiny issue All inns have little niggles uncles you want to pay super big prices And even then !!! I’ve stayed in a few overpriced dumps on my travels.
