"A comfortable stay and ideal for the SW Coast Path"

Fantastic location on the seafront and ideal for those walking the SW Coast Path. The room was good, the bathroom a bit tired (broken shower fitting). The staff were friendly but business-like

"Goede locatie, maar niet schoon"

De locatie: direct bij het strand

De kamer was niet schoon en badkamer stonk enorm naar riool. Er lag veel stof overal en schimmel en kalkaanslag in badkamer. Dus niet van een keer vergeten, maar duidelijk vaker niet schoon gemaakt. Deuren, tapijt en plinten echt vies. Zelfs de föhn uit een lade was vies. Gelukkig wel een schoon bed, maar verder kan deze kamer echt veel beter door eens een goede schoonmaakbeurt te krijgen.

Location

NO RUNNING HOT WATER FOR THREE DAYS. FIRST DAY FAULTY WATER PUMP. FOR ADVERTISING AND TAKING PAYMENT FOR A SUPERIOR ROOM (ROOM 5)THIS PLACE NOT WORTH THE MONEY.NO MANAGER CAME TO SEE ME OR OFFER MONEY BACK.AVOID THIS PLACE TO STAY.FAR MORE BETTER PLACES TO STAY IN BEER.

"Over priced (you pay for the location) for the welcome and standard of facilities"

Location was great, steps away from the harbour, coastal path and village. Bedroom was large. Traditional pub atmosphere.

Bathroom was tired and in need of refurbishment. Mattress was not comfortable (bumpy in places). Breakfast was not a buffet as expected for the continental part (and as advertised on their menu), you have to order everything with the staff which takes longer and restrict choice. Breakfast window is narrow (between 8am and 10am) so if you want to start early that is not possible. No parking at the hotel. Staff did not make us feel welcome (we really felt we were a nuisance every time we requested an extra item from the breakfast menu).

Well located by the beach

Very tired property in need of maintenance, a good spring clean and a little love. Guests felt somewhat unloved as well, absolutely no frills what so ever we had to make requests for the basics. Felt like we were being kept on short rations.
