Noise from restaurant outside

Posizione ottima esattamente ai piedi della scalinata, facile il parcheggio in strada. Stanza grande e accogliente. La proprietaria simpatica.

La colazione al bar il ticket copre appena un caffè e una brioche. La pulizia era buona ma abbiamo trovato qualche capello in bagno.

Super central position, and spacious rooms.

Unfortunately there is a restaurant on 2 levels with open terrace at the same level of the rooms, overlooking directly on to the restaurant terrace, so no privacy, and very loud music normally until midnight but on a Friday, went on until 2am. No ac in the rooms if the outside temperature is 26° or lower, centralized so nothing that could be done by the host or us on our side.

Andrea and his brother were incredible !! The room with a balcony overlooking a garden was so quiet. We were there for Pasqua Easter and it was mobbed . They moved our car for us and brought it back when we were leaving. The side street and stairs and alleys were beautiful to explore. Locals were so nice. The “La Giunta” is amazing!! From wikipedia… In Caltagirone, Sicily, during Easter Sunday, the tradition of "La Giunta" (the reunion) involves the statue of St. Peter, the keys of the kingdom, and the statues of the Risen Jesus and Mary. The procession, where they meet, takes place in Piazza Municipio and then through the historic center. After the meeting, a "spartenza" (separation) occurs, as the statues of St. Peter, Jesus, and Mary return to their respective churches. The tradition is rooted in the belief that St. Peter was given the keys to the kingdom of heaven by Jesus. The statues represent the joy of the Resurrection, and the meeting symbolizes the reunion of Christ with his mother and apostle. The procession also includes the "Dance of the Devils", where angels fight the devils to ensure the statues can meet.

The tickets for Bar next door was great to sit and people watch - the expresso and orange juice were good- but would have liked more breakfasty type things- like toast and fresh fruit.

Beautiful room with prefect heating and great bathroom. Very quiet and top location. An absolute recommendation. The free coffee machine in the lobby was another plus. Super friendly host !
